We use tricks for every small and big thing and we do so to ensure that we get what we want. So even use tricks to get their work done quickly. There may be 2 ways of doing a job. The first one is the tougher one and particularly more time consuming and the second one is the simple way but that will require you to apply some tricks to do it quickly. So the guy who has got some tricks or who can apply his presence of mind and come out with a trick will for sure use the second way to do the thing. Having said so does not imply that the first way is incorrect or should not be used.
